John is considering phoning for delivery when our food failed to arrive as expected.

		"The One with Missing Starters!"
		Our visit to Mumbai Square started well enough. They took our orders for poppadoms and drinks and delivered them to us. Then they took our orders for starters and mains, etc. All good so far. However, about 45 minutes later, the waiter came to the table with his trolley to serve us our mains. "We haven't had our starters yet", we said. He didn't say anything to us, just collected up our plates and took the trolley back to the kitchen. Sometime later, our starters arrived. We mostly ate them, although one or two thought theirs weren't cooked properly. When the mains arrived (were returned to us?), they were cold. They had probably been sitting on the trolley in the kitchen since they had first been brought to the table. Both the manager and the waiter refused to engage with us so we felt we had no option but to leave without finishing the meal. We very generously (too generously?) left £15 p/h on the table to cover what we had consumed and departed feeling very disappointed.
