Brian - An impressive performance from the Drummond Villa. Prawn puri starter was delicious and plentiful. Main of fish korahi was equally good. Sides and rice all good, draft cobra was pleasant. I'm still in shock that no-one else had any bread, my chapati was fine. Hope this makes the list again.

Jon - It seems strange to be celebrating a sub £5 pint, but that was exactly what we were doing in the Exmouth Arms beforehand – a decent little boozer near Euston with a good selection of ale probably benefitting from the closure of the Brie Louise.  The Drummond Villa did a pretty good job as a follow up.  Not the most inspiring menu, perhaps, but the food was all good and the portions generous.  The Tandoori Mix Starter had four good size chunks of meat and my default lamb dansak was more than up to scratch.  Draught Cobra was a nice option.  £40+ seems to be par for the course these days so no real complaints on the cost side. A very good evening as always.

Jeff - The nearby Exmouth Arms was an excellent find, good beer at less than £5 a pint.  The Drummond was busier than last time, but the service was still affable if again a little slow to bring our starters. It's a no frills place with muted decor. The menu is traditional with staples like 'Chicken Tikka Masala' listed under the Chef's Special section.  Portions are reasonably sized, and tasty - for example my lamb Shatkora was, as advertised, served with a high citrus-y tang. And draft Cobra is available, quite a rare occurrence in central London these days, unlike most suburban curry restaurants I visit. In summary this is a decent place with reliable quality food at which I am happy to eat.

Mark - Decent boozer to start with choice of beers (even if someone didn't get what was ordered!). Reasonable atmosphere in Drummond Villa and good nosh as well. Although I didn't have the salmon starter I was amazed at the size - a whole fillet slice! My chicken starter was generous as well as was my lamb sag main. Overall a good meal at the now standard price level. I suspect we will return again next year.

Graeme - It was good to return to 'the Villa' with the Club after missing out on last year's visit. We were made welcome as always and treated to good service throughout, inc. a complimentary (albeit small) liqueur at the end. I had Achari Salmon Tikka to start which was very tender, tasty and a generous portion. For main, I had Fish Korahi (origin unknown!) which was very good. I've marked down my rice as it was 'clumpy' in parts. The cost of £43 p/h falls within the new post-COVID price range in London and, based on that, it was decent vfm.

Tim - I found the decor pretty plain, except that the wall opposite was dominated by a TV screen which was showing an endlessly looping tour of Las Vegas at night, with the colour turned up to 11. Upon asking about "why Las Vegas", they switched it to showing Bangladesh, which was, personally, a lot more interesting. The menu was pretty basic, with even the chef's specials being mainstream dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala. I had the tandoori mix starter, followed by lamb Jalfrezi. There was quite a long wait for the starters; almost an hour from when we arrived, but when mine arrived it was well cooked and tasty. The main was only a little bit spicy, not as much as Mark's starter, but it had a good flavour and size. The veg was fine, and the (one per person) quantity ordered meant there was no need for bread as well. Overall, apart from the slow start, the service was pretty good, and the price was fairly standard for post-Covid.
