Neil - Very slow service which on a less alcohol fuelled evening (rare) could have spoilt the proceedings. The starter, Onion Baji, was actually very good but given a poor mark due to no yogurty sauce thing. Toilets very clean, but only bland piping.
John - Not the worst I've had. Dissappointed with my main dish - chicken dansak balti - didn't taste of anything really. Service was a bit slow too. The rest of the meal was ok. Welcome return of the chikpeas, and the Kingfisher went down a treat.
Robin - Best curry I've had in a very long time. Almost perfect shemi kebab to start, superb special rice and wonderful balti chicken pathia. The popadoms would also score a 10. Service was good after an initial delay bringing the starters, but Diggers soon sorted them out.
Mark - 10% discount offer from the pimp confirmed this choice from the debutante. However it still ended up pricey for Brick Lane. Slow service rattled Neil's cage, large portions were appreciated by some while others simply left their beer - what a waste!
Richard - Good food, especially ND's Prawn Balti Bhuna which I stole bits of and the tasty hot poppadums. Ambience good for your normal cuzza night: not too boisterous, not too quiet, décor standard but decent quality (although it had strange framed woodland scene carpet on the wall (?)). Let down badly by having to wait a long time for the starter. Tout outside offered 10% discount.
