Jon - A generally nice meal although they were a bit slow bringing out the starters. The Tandoori Mix Platter was ok but not spectacular but my lamb kahari main course was very tasty. Veg all good, rice good and a nice mix of chat about football and music.

Graeme - This is quite a small and plainly decorated (minimalistic?) restaurant that needs something to make it a bit more interesting. However, I enjoyed my meal, more so than on my previous visit when I made a poor menu selection for my main course. This time, I went for the Garlic Chicken Chilli Masala which was delicious. My Tandoori Mix Platter starter was very nice. The sundries were all good. It was another top night out with the Club although I failed to stay awake for the whole evening - a short nap waiting for the bill to arrive and get sorted revived me for the walk back to King's Cross!

Neil - Poor Dom, he arranges another pub for us to start at, the last being too trendy, and then gets it in the ear from me for being too noisy! Must just be the area I guess. Curry house mostly the same as last time, reasonably good food but slow service and slightly over priced. Stuffed paratha seemed to be good though, both crispy and doughy, so won't be cancelled out in the marking between me and Dom. Tim even had a slice! Note, I've marked VFM right down as they wouldn't take the taste card as advertised.

Dominic - Due to the change of ownership (and name) of our final "top 6" participant, it was back to the Cinnamon Tree on an official recount! And, after making the booking on behalf of El Prez, I was none too pleased to be told that our taste card wouldn't be honoured despite the restaurant confirming it did accept the card! This affected my service mark (and VFM mark) accordingly. Indeed, the service was adequate at best especially given it took ages for our starters to arrive. When they eventually turned up, I had the Tandoori Mix Starter consisting of salmon, chicken tikka, lamb chop and king prawn. The display was better than its taste. For main I went with the King Prawn Jalfrezi which was fine without being anything special. The rest was also just ok except for the wine which was well priced. Overall, a disappointing meal compared to others of a similar price although still a fun evening of banter nonetheless.

Brian - The garlic chicken tikka starter didn't have sufficient garlic to distinguish it from the regular version for me. I enjoyed the tandoori trout main; rice, bread veggies were all OK. It was disappointing not to get the tastecard discount, but 35 per head these days is not that extravagant. An enjoyable evening, and I would happily go back, as much for the pubs and buzz around the locale, than for anything outstandingly good about the restaurant itself.

Robin - This one is a bit off the beaten track, but worth it. I had the king prawn puri to start, which was very nice although a couple more prawns would have made it even better. The chicken tikka balti that I had for my main course was extremely good wonderfully tasty sauce but nevertheless the tikka flavour came right through. The special rice was well above average as were the veg dishes. I thought the price we paid was very reasonable for such high quality food.
